A devastating performance from Barcelona saw them take a commanding lead into the second leg against Borussia Dortmund.

Raphinha poked home from close range for the opener midway through the first half after it appeared as though Pau Cubarsí’s effort was heading in anyway.

Borussia Dortmund came from behind to beat Lille and book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Ligue 1 outfit took the lead inside five minutes, when Jonathan David’s strike inexplicably squirmed through Gregor Kobel into the Dortmund net.

Dortmund skipper Emre Can brought the sides level from the penalty spot in the second half, after Thomas Meunier was adjudged to have fouled Serhou Guirassy.

Bayern Munich got their first win over Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen with a dominant display over their domestic rivals in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.

Harry Kane opened the scoring early on in the first half with a bullet header following a lovely Michael Olise cross.

Ryan Flamingo's extra time goal saw PSV knock out Juventus in a thrilling game in EIndhoven.

Ivan Perišić got his second goal in the tie with a wonderful low finish  in the second half to bring the sides level on aggregate.

Feyenoord 1-0 AC Milan: Maignan mistake hands Feyenoord first leg win

Igor Paixão’s early goal was the difference as Feyenoord defeated AC Milan 1-0 in the first leg of their Knockout Round Play-Off first leg.

A mistake by Mike Maignan saw the Brazilian score the opener inside five minutes, his harmless looking effort skidding off the surface, through the French goalkeeper and into the net.

Two second half goals from Julian Álvarez, including a last minute winner, saw Atletico Madrid come from behind to beat Bayer Leverkusen.

Pablo Barrios was sent off inside a half an hour, following a challenge on Nordi Mukiele that was upgraded to red by VAR.

Ayoze Perez’s second goal for his country confirmed top spot for Spain in Group 4 as they beat Denmark in Copenhagen.

Skipper for the evening, Mikel Oyarzabal, grabbed the first goal of the match, slotting home a lovely finish after a brilliant reverse pass from Perez.

Victor Boniface’s fifth goal of the season saw Bayer Leverkusen defeat AC Milan by the narrowest of margins to make it two wins from two in the Champions League.

Aitor Paredes headed home a late equaliser as Athletic Club came from behind to earn a hard fought point against Roma.
